What to Expect: If you are led to attend our fellowship, don’t expect exotic worship, light shows and light sermonettes. We share from the heart Christ’s teachings that have been worked into our own lives, so we know the challenges facing the sincere Christian trying to grow up into Christ and the satanic forces working in opposition. The time for playing church has come and gone—it is now time to become a true servant of Christ—not a follower in name only, to be entertained, mislead, and financially bilked!

We are racing towards a serious and deadly time, and we fellowship with this reality in mind. We gather on Sundays and other meeting times to learn how to minister in the power of Christ and how to allow the work of the cross become an active daily force in our lives that facilitates Christlike character transformation.

Why the Message of the Cross? Apostle Paul proclaimed: “For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God” (1 Corinthians 1:18). Thus, MC in our ministry and fellowship name stands for Message of the Cross, where by embracing the cross daily, we learn to bring death to our self-power, religiosity, carnal spiritualism and wrong motives. Thus, we grow in new Christlike nature, which allows God’s life and power to become bestowed in greatness within our inner being.

Many congregations are light on Christ’s harder teachings and avoid putting to death the works of the old nature. At MC Chapel Fellowship, you will be challenged, encouraged, and strengthened in the full counsel of God. (See Acts 20:26-32.) Our fellowship members learn how to lose their lives for Christ, so that they may gain it – and learn how to navigate in these dark times victoriously, following the true Christ.

“Whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it” (Matthew 10:38-39)

We are serious about walking in the true works and gifts of the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is our life line, for each individual believer and for our fellowship team. Recovery for the Wounded and Equipping for ministry: A church or fellowship is ordained of God to facilitate healing, cleansing, and character transformation. Most fellowships are lukewarm and teach Christians how to suppress their old nature by acting, pretending, and escaping through feel good counterfeit spirit manifestations. A Christ centered fellowship is to be led by true bondservants of Christ. Leaders who don’t draw people to follow them, but are called by God, trained by Christ, and released to equip members for the work of ministry. (See Ephesians 4:11-16.) If led by the Lord to be part of this work, this is what you can expect: To be equipped to walk in discernment, to become Christlike in character and to be filled with the fulness of Christ and clothed in His power for life and ministry.
